Wall Street watched Broadcom, because Broadcom is the AI trade and the AI trade is all anybody wants to talk about.
I watched the other one.
CrowdStrike beat on earnings. Beat on revenue. Raised guidance for the year. Announced a four-for-one split. Best quarter they had put up in years.
The stock fell ten percent.
That is why I do not trade the news. Nobody predicts the reaction. Nobody. The people who tell you they can are selling you something.
So I stopped trying. The options market had already priced the move before the bell. I put a forty dollar ticket exactly where that number pointed, and I closed it the next morning at two hundred and fifty.
